El live-action de La Cenicienta

--------------

According to Deadline.com Disney has made a million dollar pitch deal for a live action version of 'Cinderella.' The new film will be written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the screenwriter of such hit films as 'The Devil Wears Prada,' 'Laws Of Attraction' and '27 Dresses.' McKenna also penned the upcoming film 'Morning Glory' starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and Patrick Wilson.
Disney was the first company the new project was pitched to. The original Disney 1950 animated 'Cinderella' film recieved three Academy Award nominations. In June 2008, the American Film Institute revealed its "10 Top 10"- the best ten films in ten "classic" American film genres-after polling over 1,500 people from the creative community. Cinderella was acknowledged as the 9th greatest film in the animation genre
Deadline.com speculates that since Disney's 'Alice In Wonderland' made $116 million in its opening weekend production companies have taken a new interest in "timeless classics." Most recently there was a rush for control of 'The Wizard of Oz.' Universal Pictures has also been in long time plans to produce a movie adaptation of the internationAl Blockbuster musical WICKED.
Aline Brosh McKenna was born in New Jersey. She attended Saddle River Day School in Saddle River, NJ. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University, and went to New York City to seek a job in publishing. While there, she did some freelance writing work. A script she wrote during a six-week course in screenwriting at New York University helped her get an agent, and she later moved to Los Angeles, where she has seen several of her screenplays produced.[citation needed] She also wrote some episodes of Margaret Cho's sitcom All American Girl.
